St Germain Spritz Recipe

Art of the Cocktail-St Germain Spritz

In my Art of the Cocktail series, last week I shared with you the amazing De Brillet Pear Liqueur. This week’s star is equally as delicious, but much more well-known. So well-known, in fact, that you have made this Vine & Table’s #1 selling liqueur of all time! You guessed it… St Germain!
You may already know that this stunning liqueur is made in Paris from wild, hand-picked elderflowers, and has a creamy lychee aroma with notes of peach, citrus and pear. However, did you know that each bottle of St Germain is individually numbered, reflecting the year in which the flowers were picked and bicycled to a collection depot where they are immediately macerated to preserve the fresh flavors of the bloom?

One of the most versatile items to include in your bar, St Germain can be a key component in literally hundreds of cocktails. My preference this summer is the St. Germain Spritz.

St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
All natural, made from 100% fresh, hand-picked elderflowers. Subtle yet complex flavor, this has a low sugar content, roughly half that of other liqueurs and easily pairs with a variety of spirits in many cocktails. St-Germain comes in an elegant French-inspired bottle to adorn your back bar.
