In April 1970, millions of people banded together to draw attention to the havoc that industrialization was wreaking on our planet and its people. 48 years later, Earth continues to suffer from the effects of pollution, pesticides, and population growth. But we can all play a role in making our world a healthier and better place to live through everyday choices…including the wines we drink!
It is thus in honor of Earth Month that we have devoted the display at the center of our store to eco-friendly wines. There are over a dozen to choose from, and if you 6 buy or more bottles (your choice, mix and match) you save 10% off your purchase; at 12 bottles of more, you save 15%! Read on to discover a few of our favorites.
Honig Sauvignon Blanc $19.99
Sustainably farmed using sniffer dogs, bats, and birds to eliminate the need for pesticides, this winery uses its own bees to assist in the pollination process. The result is a wine that is fresh with bright flavors of peach, passion fruit and grapefruit.
Julien Sunier Fleurie $39.99
This red is 100% Cerified Organic and Biodynamic and is made from the Gamay grape. You’ll note the fresh flavors of red berries, wild strawberry and red raspberries. Easy minerality and a clean finish will have you contemplating the many foods this will pair with.
