Join us at Vine & Table on Saturday, January 25th, anytime between noon and 2:00 pm as we celebrate Robert Burns Day with the launch of Glenmorangie’s 5th Private Edition Bottling, Companta. Companta means friendship in Scots Gaelic, and how appropriate that this whisky is being released on the birthday of Scotland’s national poet, most famously known for penning the words to that heart-stirring ode to friendship, Auld Lang Syne.
Glenmorangie’s renowned Director of Whisky Creation and Distilling, Dr. Bill Lumsden, has achieved a fine balance between bold spice and rich smooth sweetness with Companta. Born of Grand Cru casks from Clos de Tart in Burgundy and decadently sweet fortified wine casks from Rasteau vineyards in the Côtes du Rhône region of France, Companta celebrates the shared pursuit of perfection and the friendship that exists between Glenmorangie and these renowned French winemakers.
All attendees at the event will have the opportunity to sample Glenmorangie Companta and to purchase this Limited Release bottle at a Special Introductory price $94.99 (regular price is $99.99)! The Special Introductory Price is only available on Saturday, January 25.
Glenmorangie reached the pinnacle of whisky recognition with its 4th edition Private Release, Ealanta, which won World Whisky of the Year from Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible. I can’t wait to see how Companta compares. Join me on January 25 and we can find out together!
