the best spirits of 2012

The Irishman’s Inside Scoop to… the BEST Spirits of 2012…

Real Russian Craft Distilled Vodka
This is one of the best value-for-money vodkas I’ve tasted recently. Distiller Gregory Feldman (from Russia) crafts his product at the Premier Distillery in Chicago. This is a great tasting, no-nonsense vodka at an exceptional price!

Pennsylvania Dutch Eggnog
Pennsylvania Dutch is the only eggnog we carry because it is simply the best available. This is oldstyle nog made with cream, rum, brandy and blended whiskey. It’s not as good as homemade, but dangerously close!

St Germain Elderflower Liqueur Le Rendez-vous Cocktail Set with Carafe
Limited Edition Set
We love, love, love St Germain! This gift set features a bottle of St Germain along with a custom created glass  carafe, a recipe booklet and a delightfully naughty poster!

Johnny Drum Private Stock Bourbon
This is my favorite bourbon of 2012. For the money, the proof and the sheer drinkability, there is no other  bourbon available that comes anywhere close to this. Load up while you can!

The Botanist Islay Dry Gin
This is undoubtedly one of the best gins to hit our shelves in years. One taste and you will fall head over heels in love with gin. It’s wonderfully aromatic, as distinct juniper mingles with freshly mown hay, citrus and elderflower. It is rich yet mellow. A stunner if ever there was one!

Mitchell’s Glengyle Blended Scotch
Single Malt Scotch enthusiasts should take note of this excellent blend which is comprised of malt Scotch from the legendary Springbank distillery along with Longrow and Kilkerran malts. Sweet and fruity, with vanilla, citrus and a wee whiff of smoke on the finish make this a thoroughly delightful dram.
